Happy Feet is a well-established dance education provider offering comprehensive training in a variety of dance disciplines. Since its founding in May 2000, the school has operated from a dedicated studio space at The Hub in Hazelwell, South Birmingham.
The school is committed to the principle that dance should be accessible to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Whether students are complete beginners or seeking to refine advanced techniques, Happy Feet provides a structured and supportive learning environment conducive to personal and artistic development.
All classes are conducted under the direction of Julie Rynne, a highly qualified and experienced dance educator. Ms. Rynne holds a Fellowship with the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA), along with multiple Licentiate qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz, and Theatre Craft. She also possesses Diplomas in Musical Theatre and Gym Instruction, as well as certifications in Exercise to Music and DDMix. Her professional training is complemented by First Aid certification and her status as a Licensed Chaperone with enhanced DBS clearance, ensuring a safe and well-regulated setting for all participants.
In addition to Ms. Rynne, the school benefits from a team of assistant teachers who are themselves committed dancers. These assistants are actively pursuing Level 3 and 4 teaching qualifications under Ms. Rynne’s supervision.
Happy Feet offers the following key opportunities:
